Yes, if we challenge the right and the left we will benefit, because they will need to be challenged.

Much as I would love this to be a forum for the right of the Conservative party it would be a wrong move. Ideas to both the left and right need to be challenged  and challenged again so I think it should appeal to all inclined to Vote Conservative. Hems is right the edgy must be viewed as a positive contribution how else will we attract the young and innovative.

My mistake yr right no criminal but civil, like carrying a driving licence. If people can carry their bank card or phone with them everywhere what’s the difference.

I'd not make it a criminal offense not to carry one, I just don't think an ID card system like that could work

I would suggest, reach out to disaffected people who may consider voting for us but are also contemplating reform and other parties, seen as they're considered more right wing/commonsense reformists and dragging the conservative party in that direction is a good thing in my opinion and I would assume most other people's seen as the party is currently floundering under the center ground and neo liberals

Actually the French card has your national insurance number (or the French equivalent any) on it. I prefer simplicity. One identical card you either have access to state healthcare provision or not. Same with everything else. That or the ID card. Personally, I think technology has swept away all claims an ID card being an infringement of freedoms. Everyone has a bank card or indeed a supermarket card, and is thus constantly handing over freely information a few years ago that would never have been contemplated. So UK should bring one in at same time make it a criminal offense not to carry it at all times. That will really close the door.

This is what I had so far.

The Constitution of The Alliance of Conservative Voters (UK) Forum.

Draft of constitution elements. Not necessarily in the right order and, apart from item 1, will be regarded as a guideline until membership reaches 1,000.

1.   The constitution may be altered only be a majority vote of the members of the alliance. (That is, a majority of those who vote, not of the membership.)

2.   The ACV is not an organization, association, club or party and has no members as such. It is an open platform where Conservative party voters and members can express their opinion on party actions and policies.

3.   Oversight of the alliance will be by two Administrators, one of whom must be familiar with the technical aspects of the forum, plus Global Moderators. The number of Global Moderators to be determined as a percentage (5%?) of members.

4.   Administrators and Global Moderators will be elected annually.

5.   No Administrator or Global Moderator will be paid wages or expenses unless agreed by a full vote and only then for a specific purpose or period.

6.   Registering as a member does not confer membership. It only allows registered participation. Therefore, any participant has not joined a political organization and contravened rules.

7.   The forum will be owned and controlled by the registered participants.

8.   The ACV Twitter and Facebook pages are also to be managed by elected participants.

9.   From time-to-time and by general agreement the forum will need money to pay for a given project. Advertising or attending conference, for example. Any money raised in this manner will be used for that specific purpose and any remaining amount paid to the Conservative Party.

10.   The  forum owes its first loyalty to Conservative Voters and secondly to the party.

I will add your contributions and any others, then we can put it to the membership. Let us start out as we mean to go on and not do a 1922 Committee.

For the french healthcare model I agree kind of, there should be a card everyone has with their national insurance number (different colours for different people) blue for citizens, green for permenent residents, yellow for temporary residents etc...

That way you can tell who is eligible for what kind of care or treatment.

Id make a new British model.

It wouldn't be a mandatory ID for emergency care obviously, but if you go to the drs, have a hospital or dentist appointment etc you'd need it.

As in most things, the solution is getting to the source of the problem. It’s surely possible now we finally have a Government with the guts to do the right thing again to strip out the attractions that draw the immigrants.

You could kill two birds in with one stone by adopting the French health model 100%. Not only would it solve so many of the problems faced by people on a daily basis by providing free and efficient health care at source but illegal immigrants and health tourists for that matter would face a blank wall when seeking health care.

If as in France the health card acts as the doorway to all other benefits then they would not be available either. I suggest this may go along way to providing a solution.

Add a requirement that all employers must insist on a production and recording of same card from every employee then you have it. It’s time people appreciate there is a reason so many take a boat to UK and it’s not the weather.

Finally I might go as far as to say ‘Build that Wall’ repeatedly in a loud voice.

Another problem with the ECHR or even our own bill of rights is that the Lawyers will use it against us, Look at the dodgy excuses they are using to keep convicted criminals in the country. Also we need to get deporting those that can be,
I believe that this should be taken away from the home office and that we need an Immigration/Illegal immigration dept.
Whoes sole aim is to remove illegals and deport criminals.

All the time it rests with the home office nothing will change.

Maybe make it best practice when a criminal is a dual national with British citizenship or residency that it gets removed and they're deported to that country they're a dual national or national of with a permenent ban list. People would try what about parents ... Personally I'd say still deport them and offer to pay £20,000 to the family to move to the country the parent is in while giving up their British residency if possible.

The soft touch our country is percieved to have needs to be shattered harshly lest we continue to be taken advantage of

The idea of paying immigrants to leave the UK and give up their passports was first muted by Enoch Powell.
This interview from 1976 is interesting.
